This suit is black, but a black with depth: the cloth has a slight sheen with a woven tonal pattern, so it catches the light differently from every angle. The jacket has one button and peak lapels sweeping up toward the shoulder, creating a diagonal that makes the figure look taller, with a close-cut body and fitted sleeves. It is worn with a white shirt, a black bow tie and a slim belt with a metal buckle; the trousers are in the same glossy cloth, tapering toward the ankle.

This suit is for galas, evening weddings, launch events or outdoor photo sessions where you want to stand out. Polished leather shoes with a slim toe are the most flattering choice; for a softer look, swap the bow tie for a slim tie in the same colour.

Mon Amie tailors this suit in a close-fitting cut, and with a close fit, a centimetre out and it is spoiled. We carefully measure your chest, waist, armhole depth and sleeve length, then fit you at least twice so that you are comfortable whether you raise your arms or sit down. A glossy cloth also demands a more skilled tailor, because every stitch shows under party lighting.
