About

The eveningwear house of Mon Amie

Mon Amie means 'my friend'. The King of Suit is the standard we hold ourselves to. TUXEDO is where both meet after dark.

Our story

Close as a friend, exacting as a king

Mon Amie grew from the Hoàng Vy workshop, founded in 1991 in Ho Chi Minh City. Today more than fifty tailors, with ten to twenty-five years at the bench, cut and sew every Mon Amie suit.

TUXEDO is our eveningwear name. A tuxedo forgives nothing: a satin lapel shows every ripple, a braided trouser every wrong break. That is why we give it its own house, its own collection and its own guides.

Every tuxedo is drafted from your own pattern, in Italian and English cloth, and fitted until the line is right — then altered again whenever you need.
