The detail worth studying on this jacket is at the chest. The silver-grey Prince of Wales check shows crisp crossing lines over a slightly open weave, and up close you can see white and charcoal threads running together. Wide peak lapels in matte black, no gloss, wrap from collar to chest with the points rising very high, a lapel width that makes the shoulders look broader and firmer. A silver lily pin sits on the lapel and the jetted chest pocket recedes into the check. Underneath goes a white high-collar shirt and a large black bow tie.
