This tuxedo follows the most classic style: a rounded shawl lapel faced in glossy black satin, in one continuous band without a break, wrapping softly around the neck. The jacket has one button, and in place of a waistcoat there is a pleated satin cummerbund across the stomach, a detail true to formal wear that few men still wear in full. Beneath is a white shirt with a vertically pleated front and black buttons, with a satin bow tie and a white pocket square. The trousers are in the same cloth, straight-leg, ending at the top of the shoe.

This suit is for formal galas, evening weddings, anniversary parties and events with a black-tie dress code. You can keep polished black leather shoes to be strictly correct, or choose chestnut brown leather shoes as in the picture if you want a little deliberate departure.
