About this tuxedo
A deep black cloth in which, on close look, very fine tonal stripes appear, matte and well-structured, set against the smooth satin facing on the lapel. This contrast of matte and gloss gives the tuxedo its discreet elegance.
This double-breasted jacket has four satin-covered buttons and a seamless rounded shawl lapel that frames the chest. The flap pockets have a thin satin edge, and the box-style breast pocket also carries satin in the same tone. The shoulders are square, the waist is nipped in and the skirt is a moderate length, so the line stands very straight. In the photograph, the jacket is worn with a pleated-front shirt with black buttons, double cuffs and a wide black velvet bow tie, a classic combination for the evening.
