An aubergine ground woven with small repeating raised hexagons, interlacing blue-purple and red-brown. From a distance the pattern merges into a deep purple with a wine-red sheen; up close each small cell is finely woven, giving a surface of depth without flash.

This is a single-button tuxedo with a peak lapel faced in softly glossy black satin, which contrasts strongly with the colour of the cloth. The two pockets are trimmed in satin, and the pocket square on the chest is of the same material, while the four sleeve buttons are covered in black satin. A white pleated-front shirt with black buttons is paired with a blue-black velvet bow tie. Rose-gold cufflinks inlaid with black are the final accent at the wrist.
