This tuxedo chooses deep navy in place of black, a refined choice because under party lights navy always looks deeper and richer. The peak lapels are edged with a slim band of black satin running along the border, with a matching satin edge on the chest pocket, a small detail that is exactly what separates formal wear from an ordinary suit. The jacket has two buttons and a close cut, and is worn with a white shirt with black buttons, a satin bow tie and a white pocket square folded straight.

This is the suit for evening weddings, galas, balls and award ceremonies, the places with a dress code where you do not want to be lost in a crowd of black jackets. Polished black leather shoes, thin socks in the same tone and exactly one centimetre of cuff showing at the wrist complete the look.
