The difference is the shawl lapel, made in the same cloth as the jacket rather than faced in black satin like a traditional tuxedo, so the whole look is seamless and quietly elegant. The jacket has a single button and a clear shaped fit; the welt chest pocket and jetted hip pockets are all finished in the jacket's own colour. Underneath are a white shirt, a large ivory bow tie and a blue and white paisley pocket square rising from the chest pocket, along with a small embroidered name at the shirt cuff.
